Dhenkanal -: A youth was shot dead in a farmhouse near Fasigaon village under Dhenkanal Sadar police station. Farm owner Govinda Nayak was shot dead in Bhapur Fandi Fasigaon early in the morning.
Govinda Chandra Nayak, a youth from Kalang Chakundanali village, was sleeping in his farmhouse near Fasigaon Shiv Mandir last night when some miscreants came and threw a torch at the farmhouse. Seeing this, Govinda screamed and the miscreants shot him. After that, Govinda was rescued in serious condition and admitted to Dhenkanal District Head Hospital. However, the doctor there declared him dead. However, the reason for this shooting is unclear. Sadar police station is investigating the matter.
