Baliguda -: 19th February 2025, 136th Battalion BSF deployed at Baliguda in the Distt of Kandhamal for Anti naxal operations organised a civic action programme at Dakka campus under supervision of Shri Sandeep kumar mishra assistant commandant 136 Bn, BSF in presence of
Sarita mallick salaguda sarapancha, (chief Guest) ward member Dakka, Sailendra jadav asst com-mander Dakka, Sanjaya kumar singh inspector, ASI Sanjay, H.C. Kailash Bange, G. B. Nayak were also present at this time. The programme was arranged by Sailendra Jadav, Asstt
Commandant Company Commander of BSF camp Dakka. During this civic Action programme many household items like utensils clothings including Blankets, Mosquito nets Sarees, darry and lungi etc were distributed among the remote area vil-lage population. Besides sports items e.i. valley ball,
football, and cricket kits were also distributed to sur-rounding all sports clubs or students teams of Salaguda, Dakka, Melsikia etc. Carrom bords distributed to school’s children. Around 200 deserving people were benefited in the programme. The main purpose of this programme is to foster co-operation and goodwill among the remote area population and BSF as well as extend some help by BSF to improve the living stan-dard of them. By conduct-ing the programme BSF dis-played it’s commitment to the wellbeing local popula-tion. The Civic Action Programme is widely appre-ciated by all. The locals ex-pressed their thanks to BSF for such welfare gestures and the Similar programme will be organized by 136 Bn BSF in other places also.
