Bargarh (Niranjan Tripathy)-:A Sarvodaya Sankalp Camp has been held by Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Organization at Bargarh Townhall.
This morning, the organization’s national vice president, Shri Sachin Nayak, hoisted the ANC flag and inaugurated it.
In the inaugural session, the prominent mediaperson of Sambalpur, Shri Shiv Prasad Nanda, joined as the main speaker and said that there is a need for a global struggle to protect the constitution and the country’s democracy. In the session related to mass movement and the protection of democracy, prominent farmer leader Shri Lingaraj joined and said that democracy can be protected if a mass movement is formed regarding the problems of the local people. Former Kalapani College President Dr. Mohan Sahu and former president of Sohela College Dr. Tekchand Duan joined the camp and called for continuous efforts to decentralize power and strengthen the Panchayat system.
State President of the organization Shri Sudarshan Das highlighted the role of Congress in the freedom struggle and building India, while Shri Sachin Nayak discussed the issue of protecting the Constitution.
Conducted by the state coordinator of the organization Vijay Pradhan, Pandav Karn, Kishore Sahu, Anant Ikhla Padhi, Ganesh Sahu, Sunita Bagh, Basanti Sahu took part in the main discussions in this camp.
In the coming days, it has been decided to strengthen the Rajiv Gandhi Panchayati Raj Organization in all the panchayats of the district and to organize a movement on the daily problems of the people. The organization said that this will be an effort to reach a larger number of people with the political ideology on which the Congress party stands.
Next Shri Pandav Karn and Kishore Sahu, on behalf of the organization, have informed that a Jira River Rescue Movement will be launched at Dhanu Yatra Ground tomorrow morning for the protection and restoration of the Jira River.
