
Bhubaneswar – The two-day National Chartered Accountants (CA) Conference, organized by the Cuttack branch, was inaugurated under the theme “Navapravartan” (Innovation). Attending as the chief guest, Revenue Minister Suresh Pujari stated that chartered accountants play a crucial role in strengthening the country’s economy.
Ajit Kumar Behura, Director of Finance at MCL, was present as the guest of honor.
Other dignitaries in attendance included CA Charan Jyotsingh Nanda, President of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI); Mangesh Pandrurang Kinare, Chairman of the Conference; Sanjeev Sanghi, Program Director; Vishnu Kumar Tulsiyan, Chairman of the Eastern India Regional Council of CAs; Pawan Kumar Udaipuria, Chairman of the Organizing Committee; Bijan Sahu, Chairman of the Cuttack Branch; Mirza Mustaq Beg, Secretary; and Prashant Kumar Mahapatra, Public Relations Officer, among others.
The conference agenda includes discussions on startups, auditing, indirect tax, direct tax, corporate law, artificial intelligence, and RERA (Real Estate Regulation Act). Around 600 chartered accountants from within and outside the state have participated in the event.
