
In the past, Indian soldiers have demonstrated unmatched valor at the borders, outsmarting enemy forces. Many brave Odia soldiers have even laid down their lives for the motherland. Now, such a heart-touching scene has been witnessed at Cuttack Railway Station. A video of this incident is currently going viral on social media.
It involves CRPF jawan Tulu Behera, whose quick action and courageous spirit saved the life of an innocent passenger. The passenger, identified as Mohammad Mujahir, was attempting to board the Kanyakumari–Dibrugarh Express (Train No. 22503) at Cuttack, heading to Kishanganj. As he was trying to board, the train was moving at high speed. Unfortunately, he slipped and fell between the platform and the train, facing certain death.
In that critical moment, jawan Tulu Behera displayed remarkable bravery by immediately grabbing Mujahir’s hand and pulling him to safety, thus saving his life.
For this commendable act, Odisha Police DGP W.B. Khurania awarded Tulu Behera a cash prize of ₹2,500. Similarly, Coastal Security and Railway ADG Arun Bothra personally spoke to Behera and praised his unmatched courage and swift decision-making.
The incident filled nearby passengers and railway staff with joy and relief. Everyone present praised jawan Tulu Behera wholeheartedly and celebrated his heroic deed.
